Fucking Ridiculous

Georgetown beat UConn 72-69 today, on last second three-pointer by Roy Hibbert. Hibbert is the 7′2″ center, who until this afternoon had only taken one three-pointer in his entire collegiate career. Even more amazing, it looked to me like the play was drawn up this way, meaning John Thompson III must have already known Hibbert can light it up from downtown.

I am both ecstatic and shocked about the end of this game today. Tellingly, all I could do was laugh as Hibbert’s shot swished through the net. Go Hoyas, bring on those dirty Irish.
